Cookie Jar Policies

Everything you need to know before your sweets hit the road.

Order Processing

Cookie Jars are offered during a 3-week preorder period. Once the preorder window closes, please allow up to 14 days for order preparation, baking, packaging, and processing.

Orders will begin shipping following the processing period, typically between days 15–19. To help maintain freshness and reduce the chance of packages sitting in transit over the weekend, orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday only.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information. Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking information to update.

Shipping & Delivery

All Cookie Jar orders are shipped via UPS 2-Day shipping to help maintain freshness and minimize the amount of time your cookies spend in transit. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the customer’s shipping address and order details.

Please note that days 15–19 refer to our shipping window, not your guaranteed delivery date. Once your package has been transferred to UPS, transit and delivery times are determined by the carrier and may be affected by weather, holidays, service interruptions, or other carrier-related delays.

To further protect the freshness of your cookies, packages are shipped Monday through Wednesday only. Orders will not be shipped Thursday through Sunday to reduce the possibility of packages remaining in transit over the weekend.

Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking information and making arrangements to receive their package promptly upon delivery.

Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Due to the perishable nature of our Cookie Jars, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges.

Orders may be canceled only while the preorder window is still open. Once the preorder period has closed and order preparation has begun, cancellations, changes, and refunds will not be accepted.

If there is an issue with your order upon arrival, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery so we can review the issue. Photos of the product and packaging will be required.

Damaged, Lost & Stolen Packages

Damaged Packages

If your Cookie Jar order arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. Include clear photos of the shipping box, packaging, and damaged product so the issue can be reviewed. Claims submitted without photos may not be eligible for replacement or resolution.

Lost Packages

Once an order has been transferred to UPS, the package is in the carrier’s possession. If your tracking information shows that your package is delayed or potentially lost in transit, please contact UPS using your tracking number. If additional assistance is needed, you may contact us and we will assist with available shipping information.

Stolen or Missing Packages

TUFL Sweets Library is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after the carrier has confirmed delivery to the address provided at checkout. Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking updates and making arrangements to receive their package promptly.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

Please carefully review your shipping address before completing checkout. TUFL Sweets Library is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Returned packages will be disposed of upon receipt and will not be eligible for a refund.

Food Allergies & Ingredients

TUFL Sweets Library products are prepared in a kitchen where common food allergens may be present, including wheat, milk, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts.

While care is taken during preparation, we cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact. Customers with food allergies or dietary restrictions are responsible for reviewing product ingredients before placing an order.

Ingredient and allergen information is provided for each Cookie Jar flavor when applicable. If you have questions regarding the ingredients in a particular flavor, please contact us before placing your order.

Freshness, Storage & Warming Instructions

Freshness & Storage

For the best experience, enjoy your Cookie Jars within 2 days when stored at room temperature. Want to save them for later? Simply place your cookies in the freezer, where they can be stored for up to 2 months.

Warming Instructions

For that fresh-from-the-oven experience, remove the parchment square from the bottom of the cookie before warming.

Microwave: Heat for 8–10 seconds.
Oven or Air Fryer: Heat at 330°F for approximately 2 minutes.

Heating times may vary by appliance, so warm carefully and allow the cookie to cool slightly before enjoying.
